Do I need a solicitor?
No. JustClaim is designed for people to handle small claims themselves. JustClaim guides you through the process, and you can manage everything online without legal fees.
Is JustClaim legally valid?
Yes. All letters and forms generated follow UK legal standards and comply with Civil Procedure Rules. They're the same documents a solicitor would create.
What types of claims can I make?
JustClaim works best for debt claims, breach of contract, faulty goods/services, and disputes under £10,000 (small claims track). For complex cases, we recommend seeking legal advice.
How much does it cost?
Creating letters and communicating through JustClaim is free. Court filing fees are set by HM Courts & Tribunals Service (typically £25-£455 depending on claim value).
What if the other party doesn't respond?
If they don't respond within 14 days to your Letter of Claim, you can escalate to a Pre-Action Letter. If still no response, you can file a court claim directly through JustClaim.
